FAQ
Which format should I pick?
MP3 if you want maximum compatibility (works on every device ever made). FLAC or WAV if you want lossless. OPUS if you want the smallest file size with great quality (great for podcasts and chat apps).
Will quality drop when converting?
Lossy → lossy (e.g. MP3 → OGG): yes, slight quality loss. Lossy → lossless (MP3 → FLAC): no quality gain — FLAC just preserves the already-degraded audio. Lossless → lossless (WAV ↔ FLAC): identical quality.
Why is my FLAC bigger than the MP3 source?
FLAC stores audio losslessly, so it can't beat MP3's already-compressed size. FLAC only makes sense from a lossless source like WAV or CD.
Where are my files processed?
On our EU server. Files are auto-deleted within 1 hour. We don't share or store them.
