FAQ
Will my formatting stay the same?
Yes. We use LibreOffice for rendering, which handles fonts, headers, footers, margins, and page breaks faithfully. Complex macros are not executed, but visual layout is preserved.
Are images and tables kept?
Absolutely. Embedded images, tables, charts, and shapes are all rendered into the PDF exactly as they appear in Word.
Can I convert password-protected documents?
Not currently. Please remove the password in Word first, then upload the unprotected file.
Does it work with scanned documents?
If the Word file contains scanned images (pictures of pages), they'll appear in the PDF as images — they won't become searchable text. Use an OCR tool for that.
Is my file safe?
Your file is uploaded to our EU server over HTTPS, converted, and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We never read, share, or store your documents.
What about .odt and .rtf files?
LibreOffice natively supports OpenDocument (.odt) and Rich Text Format (.rtf), so they convert just as reliably as .docx files.
