How to use DNS Lookup

Where does the DNS data come from?

Queries are sent to Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver (1.1.1.1) directly from your browser.

Is this tool accurate?

Yes — it reflects live DNS data from Cloudflare's resolver, which is one of the fastest and most up-to-date public DNS services.

Why do I get no results?

The domain may not have records of the selected type. Try a different record type, or check that you entered the domain correctly.

Can I look up subdomains?

Absolutely. Enter the full subdomain (e.g. mail.example.com) to query its records.

Is my query private?

The DNS query goes directly from your browser to Cloudflare. We don't store or log any lookups.
