FAQ

Is the blur or pixelation permanent?

Once you download the image, the effect is baked in and cannot be reversed. The original file on your device is never modified.

What's the difference between blur and pixelate?

Blur smooths out details with a Gaussian-like effect. Pixelate replaces areas with large solid-color blocks, giving a mosaic look commonly used for censoring.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Everything runs in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device.

Can I undo a brush stroke?

Yes. The tool keeps up to 20 undo steps. Click Undo to step back, or Reset to restore the original image.

What output format is used?

The edited image is always downloaded as a lossless PNG to preserve the applied effects without further compression artifacts.
