How to use Fraction Calculator

Can I enter mixed numbers?

Yes. Use the optional whole number field before each fraction. For example, 2 and 3/4 means two and three-quarters.

What if I enter zero as a denominator?

The calculator will show a validation error and won't compute until you fix it. Division by zero is undefined.

Does it simplify the result?

Yes. Results are always reduced to their simplest form using the greatest common divisor (GCD).

How does fraction division work?
