How to use Morse Code

What characters are supported?

All 26 Latin letters (A-Z), digits 0-9, and common punctuation including period, comma, question mark, exclamation, slash, parentheses, ampersand, colon, semicolon, equals, plus, hyphen, underscore, quotation marks, dollar sign, and at sign.

How does the audio playback work?

The Web Audio API generates sine wave tones at 700 Hz. A dot is a short beep (~100ms) and a dash is a long beep (~300ms), with standard spacing between elements, letters, and words.

What does WPM mean?

Words Per Minute — the standard speed measurement for Morse code. The timing of dots, dashes, and gaps scales proportionally with WPM.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs entirely in your browser. No text or audio is sent to any server.
