How to use Video Trimmer

  3. 3. Choose cut mode. Fast (default) is lossless and snaps to keyframes. Frame-accurate re-encodes for exact cuts.
  4. 4. Trim & download. We cut the clip on the server and stream the MP4 back.

FAQ

Does trimming reduce quality?

Not in fast mode — we copy the original video and audio streams without re-encoding. Frame-accurate mode re-encodes (slight quality loss, but exact cuts).

Why does my cut start a moment late?

Fast mode snaps to the nearest keyframe, which can be up to ~1 second off. Enable Frame-accurate cut for precise edits.

Can I trim multiple clips at once?

Not yet — one clip per upload. To combine clips, trim each, then merge them in a video editor.

What's the maximum video length I can upload?

500 MB file size. Length depends on the bitrate of your source. A typical 1080p phone video at 25 Mbps fits roughly 2.5 minutes per 500 MB.

Where is my file processed?

On our EU server. Files are auto-deleted within 1 hour.
