How to use Video Resizer

1. Upload your video. Drag in any MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, or M4V file — up to 500 MB.
2. Check current resolution. Your video's width and height are shown automatically after upload.
3. Pick a target width. Choose 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, or enter a custom pixel width. Aspect ratio is always preserved.
4. Resize & download. We re-encode on the server and stream the resized video back to you.

Does resizing reduce file size?

Yes — downsizing from 1080p to 720p typically cuts file size by 40–60%. Fewer pixels means fewer bytes.

Is aspect ratio preserved?

Always. We scale the width to your target and calculate the matching height automatically.

What if I pick a width larger than my source?

The tool warns you. Upscaling doesn't add real detail and increases file size. We'll still do it if you proceed.

What codec is used?

H.264 with CRF 18 for high quality. Audio is copied without re-encoding when possible.

Where is my file processed?

On our EU server. Files are auto-deleted within 1 hour. We don't share, analyse, or store them.
