How to use Reverse Video

  3. 3. Choose audio handling. Mute removes all sound. 'Keep audio' reverses the audio track alongside the video.

FAQ

Why is there a 30 second limit?

Reversing video requires decoding every frame into memory at once. For a 1080p video at 30fps, 30 seconds is ~900 frames — about 6 GB of raw pixel data. Longer clips would exhaust server memory.

Can I reverse the entire video?

If your video is 30 seconds or shorter, yes — set start to 0 and duration to the full length. For longer videos, trim first with our Video Trimmer.

Does reversed audio sound weird?

Yes — reversed audio sounds nothing like the original. It's a creative effect (often used in music and memes). Choose 'Mute' if you just want the visual effect.

Is this good for boomerang effects?

Great for it! Reverse a short clip, then combine the original + reversed in an editor for a perfect loop.

Where is my file processed?

On our EU server. Files are auto-deleted within 1 hour. We don't share, analyse, or store them.
